Natchez Trace
The ancient overland trail that links
Mississippi to Tennessee.

Many travellers have tramped along this trail.
The Natchez, Chickasaw and Choctaw Indians following their hunting paths and trading routes.
French, Spanish and English pioneers and
settlers venturing into the New World.
By 1820 the bustle had subsided. Steamboats
lured traffic to The Mississippi.

The Trace remains.
Today it is a peaceful forest lane.
